ABOUT US

Our Mission

Amaven is a sports technology company based in the UK.

Our goal is to make health and physical fitness attainable to all members of the society. To this end we have developed apps and software platforms for schools, sports clubs, coaching companies and wellness providers.

Our Story

Amaven was founded by PK Vaish and Sam Greenwood in 2013 with the help and guidance from an advisory board made up of experts from the exercise science, sport coaching and healthcare profession.

Amaven started out as a platform to identify talented athletes in sports academies and schools, however the product changed when Sam and PK discovered that there was an unmet need, as primary school teachers were not equipped to teach children about healthy lifestyle choices, nor were they skilled enough to help children to develop the fundamental movement skills necessary for athletic ability. Amaven was created to meet this need, by upskilling teachers to deliver outstanding PE lessons and giving children the tools to learn athletic skills at home.

We now have one of the largest libraries of exercise training videos and wellness content for all age groups, abilities and settings. We have also developed a unique system to deploy white label apps for organisations and practitioners in education, sports and wellness sectors using our extensive library of content. Our main markets are schools, sports clubs, coaching companies, wellness providers and physiotherapists.

We have also launched several player development sports apps aimed directly at the end user market.

Success stories

Mr Oliver Crooks
Pupil Activities Coordinator, Horninglow Primary School
I have been really impressed with Amaven over the last two years. It has made a massive impact [on] the monitoring and evaluation of PE in our school.
Mr A McCarthy
Staff Governor, SS John Fisher & Thomas More Catholic Primary School
[Our] teachers now feel more confident in improving pupils' fundamental movement skills. The challenge days, which have been enjoyable, as well as the assessment reports, have helped teachers to plan effectively to meet the needs of all pupils. We now have a clear vision going forward.
Luis do Nascimento
PE Coordinator, Furness Primary School
It [Wellness Kickstart Day] was a great day, the children had a lot of fun and Harri [the Amaven coach] was good with his delivery.
